I am a member of the National Association of Notaries (NNA).  My certification is through NNA, which also accomplished my background screening. I have errors and omissions (E/O) loan signing insurance and general notary E/O insurance. Additionally, I carry the state-mandated bond.

As an official witness of Illinois, a notary helps prevent fraud by witnessing the signing of documents or administering oaths. The notary is there to make sure participants are willing and all tasks are carried out properly.
